Ask anyone who has gifted mithai at Diwali and you will hear the same worry: will it still be fresh when it is opened? At Loknath Sweets we answer that with MAP packing.
What is MAP?
MAP stands for modified atmosphere packing. Instead of sealing sweets in ordinary air, each tray is sealed with a food-grade gas mix that slows down the things that make mithai go stale. The tray stays sealed until the person you gifted it to opens it.
How long does MAP-packed mithai last?
Depending on the sweet, our MAP-sealed trays stay fresh for 15 to 30 days. As a rule, drier sweets keep longer than rich milk-based ones.
Why it matters for gifting
- You can book and receive your Diwali boxes early instead of chasing a last-minute pickup.
- Boxes travel well to relatives and offices across the city.
- Whoever opens the box gets mithai that tastes the way it did on the day it was made.
Storage tips
- Keep sealed trays in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Open a tray only when you are ready to serve it.
- Once opened, finish milk-based sweets within a few days and keep them refrigerated.
What goes inside
Freshness starts with ingredients: pure desi ghee, 100% full cream milk and zero palm oil, made the same way at Ghantaghar, Ghaziabad since 1952.
